Exciting times

We spent the whole day yesterday at home. It is actually a luxury for me, I'm usually out most part of the day. But because of my paternity leave, I can spend precious quality time with my two children. Judith is still recovering so mobility is not that good, but she breastfeeds Enzo nearly every 2 hours. I know she still has some post-partum pains but she is so dedicated to the needs of Enzo, so really my hat's off to her.
Zia on the other hand is beginning to show signs of a good "ate". She now knows the name of Enzo, she looks to him everytime we call his name. Of course, there are still times wherein she would make "pa-pansin" to us, but we were surprised when she began kissing the forehead of Enzo everytime she wants to. Very "Hallmark" moment indeed.
The folks in Canada have seen Enzo as well yesterday. Through the wonders of internet, they have seen their new apo, and were thrilled especially Tatay, because Enzo looks like him.
My brother Jojo and his family arrived yesterday afternoon also, to spend the night here. They were all laughing when they saw Enzo, 'Kamukhang kamukha nga ni Tatay'.
As for me, everytime I carry him, I remember when Zia was that small. So fragile, so delicate yet so much the center of attention of the whole house. As I look at Zia now who is so likot, I just wonder - after a few months, we will have two malikot children in this home. Yup, these coming months will be exciting months ahead. Sana may makuha na kaming yaya.
