At around 3AM of January 17, Judith started regular contractions, so we began preparing for hospital admission. We left the house at 7AM and went to our friend - Dra. Janice Lacuna's house in Remarville also in Las Pinas to have Judith examined. Janice is a batchmate of Judith in Ob-Gyne residency in PGH, and a kumare. After confirming that indeed her labor has started but still too early (2 cms pa lang), we decided to go to Asian Hospital first so that she can have ample time to wait and me to have my clinic time. Judith was able to have her picture taken in the hospital (hospital requirement), and was perfectly fine, with no evidences of difficulty while at labor. After I finished my clinic (nagtrabaho muna para kumita), we proceeded to PGH na.
Judith was being monitored starting at 2PM. Dra. Cecilia Llave is her Ob-Gyne doctor. Epidural anesthesia was started at 4PM by my brod Dr. Carlo Catabijan. The two were also our doctors when Zia was born. Because I was confident that Judith is in good hands, and knowing that by estimates, early evening pa siya manganganak, pumunta pa ako sa Robinsons Mall para magpagupit, at naka attend pa ako sa isang affair sa Sentro Oftalmologico Jose Rizal bago ako naka balik kay Judith sa labor room. After the last monitoring at 8:30PM, they decided to put Judith in the delivery room.
At the delivery room, everybody was excited, Dra. Ces Alinea, our friend Pediatrician has also arrived to catch Enzo. After two tries, Enzo was born! He came out at 9PM. Judith was very good in following instructions from her doctors. I was busy shooting video and pictures and calling the lolos and lolas. The happiest day of my life has repeated - first was when Zia was born and today!
At last, a son! What more can I wish for? A loving wife, a very cute daughter, and now a son. Thank you Lord!

ang cute ni enzo esp dun sa pic na partly covered yung face nya. it's like he's playing peekaboo.
natawa ako na nagpa-picture pa si judith habang in labor especially when i think that that picture will be immortalized on the asian hospital website.
