Enzo's Baptism

My favorite son, Lorenzo Cesar G. Perez, was baptized last Sunday in St. James the Great Parish in Alabang. The day was hot but we were so thankful that no rain came. Most of the ninongs were there and only one ninang arrived. Of course, my brothers Jojo, who is also one of the ninongs, and Jaypee were there. Some friends also arrived to grace the occasion.

As luck would have it, the ceremony became special since we were the only one there, at walang kasabay si Enzo na bininyagan.

Si Father Lito ang officiating priest, siyempre dahil kami lang ang nandun, sa altar mismo kami naka pwesto.

Yung veil na ginamit ni Zia sa baptism niya, yun din ang pinagamit namin kay Enzo. Medyo nag-alala lang kami dahil mas malaki si Enzo baka di magkasya, buti na lang tamang-tama lang. Medyo mainit nga lang kaya habang nasa ceremony, medyo umiiyak si Enzo.



Heto naman ang aming panganay na si Zia, kasama si Ate Alicia niya. Tuwang tuwa din si Zia sa loob ng church dahil maluwag, marami siyang nalalakaran, natatakbuhan at nagagapangan.

Pagkatapos niyang mag-karaoke, sumama na rin sa pool si Judith, kasama si Zia, Kurt at Alicia. Nasa likod naman ang malalaking bata.


Isa na ito sa matinong group picture, lahat kasi magulo at malikot. Tingnan niyo yung nasa likod (si Klaire), mag-isa siya dun, nakasalbabida pero takbo ng takbo sa paligid ng pool. Bait no?


Kainan na, naghanda si Judith ng liyempo at tilapia na inihaw ni Noli, bumili naman si Bado ng lechon manok, gumawa si Noli ng talong salad, ayos! Nasa picture si Lare, Jing, Noli, Biboy (natakpan ko) at Zsazsa.


Umahon na rin ang mga bata pagkatapos lumangoy ng 3 oras, nasa picture sina Biboy, Kurt, Lare, Bado at Alicia. Nandun sa likod nila yung pool. Matutuwa si Nanay, ginagamit pa namin yung lalagyan niya ng paper plates.


Kabilang angle naman, nadagdag sa picture si Jing at si Judith, makikita naman sa likod yung billiard table.

Los Banos Pics

The Perez family rented a private pool in Los Banos yesterday for a summer outing. The place is located inside a subdivision where houses are very large and practically new. The place is owned by some doctors based in Calamba, which Judith got hold on to so we got it for a special price (for 12 hours usage). The place has a large cold pool and a small hot pool. It also has 4 air-conditioned rooms, 4 shower cubicles, large dining area, with refrigerator, cold water dispenser, a "ihawan area", a billiard table and a karaoke machine. Everybody, especially the kids enjoyed.

After 2 minutes of arrival, nasa loob na ng pool (the large cold pool) ang mga bata (kasama si Biboy), si Enzo antok pa (karga ni Yaya Lora).
